South Carolina incorporates modules around Gullah Geechee cultures and history for grades 3 and 8. The Coastal Carolina Univeristy Team is developing educational modules that utilize the<a href=\"..\/immersive-experiences\/\"> immersive experiences<\/a> to strengthen students\u2019 understanding of South Carolina rice production, slavery, spiritual music, and West African ties to Gullah Geechee culture.
